About event

Two lightning talks, a demo round, then pizza and open conversations.

🎲 Social Bingo at this meetup

Tonight we play a bingo that starts conversations instead of filling time. At check-in you get a card with questions about AI and building, for example:

  • Find someone who regrets a prompt they wrote.
  • Find someone who is launching something right now.
  • Find someone you only knew as a profile picture.

Complete a row and you get a sticker and a shout-out at the end.

✓ Optional: no stage, no intro round
✓ Ideal if you come alone: you get an instant way into a conversation

Fictional example: how the event page reads

Without bingo

  • Guests stand along the wall with a drink, waiting for the talk
  • Intro rounds cost time and nerves
  • Whoever comes alone stays alone
  • Afterwards nobody says: “I met someone great there”

With Social Bingo

  • Every card gives a reason to talk to someone new
  • No stage, no pressure: playing is optional
  • Newcomers and solo guests get an instant way in
  • Conversations go beyond the topic of the evening

The value

More conversations, and they are yours

Anyone can find a generic bingo. Yours is built for your meetup.

  • The first sentence is a gift

“Find someone who regrets a prompt they wrote.” Anyone who wants to complete a task may talk to anyone. The conversation has a topic from the first second.

  • Talk beyond the topic

A mix of professional and personal questions pulls people out of the small-talk loop: from the tool they use right now to who has deployed at 3 a.m.

  • Curated for your meetup

Your own questions, inside jokes, sponsor moments or community topics. Type them yourself or let AI suggest them and adjust. Every text is editable.

This is what your card looks like

Everyone gets a different mix of the questions. Your own questions replace single squares or whole rows.

  2. Tailor it to your event

Swap questions for your own or let AI suggest some on your topic. You set the card name and headline.

  3. Paste text into the Luma description

Below you find a ready paragraph to copy. Paste, replace the placeholders, save.

  4. Hand out cards at check-in

Questions from Luma hosts

Is there a Luma integration?

No. Mingo is not connected to Luma and you do not need a connection: the bingo is an on-site activity. You announce it in the description and hand out cards at check-in.

Do I need Luma Plus or a specific Luma plan?

No. You only paste text into the description, which works with any Luma account.

Is there a digital version?

Currently you export PDF cards to print, plus a CSV for your own layout with the event set.

How many guests does it cover?

The party set gives 20, the event set 40 differently shuffled cards. For bigger crowds combine several exports.

Is that too silly for a business crowd?

You decide with the questions. For professional audiences pick work tasks like “Find someone who has founded a company.”
